Royal Johar edges out Kingfisher First 9-8 to win the Reid & Taylor Indian Polo Championship (Open) played at the Jaipur Polo ground in New Delhi.

Kingfisher First started with Andrade scoring the first goal but Santiago de Estrada fired back with the equaliser for Royal Johor a little later in the 1st chukkar.  Satinder Garcha and Ubajara Andrade both scored in the 2nd chukkar to put Kingfisher ahead 3-1. Estrada scored again in the 2nd to make it 3-2. Estrada again scored at the start of the 3rd chukkar to equalise the score.
In the 4th chukker Royal Johor scored 3 goals while Kingfisher First scored 2 goals. During 5th chukker Royal Johor scored 2 goals while Kingfisher First scored one goal. The score was 9 to 6 in favour of Royal Johor. In the last and 6th chukker both teams came forward with their best horses and played superbly. Kingfisher First scored 2 goals during this chukker to reduced the margin by 8 goals to 9 but the Royal Johor teams held into its lead and won the Indian Open Polo Championship for the 2nd consecutive year.
Royal Johor flew in Frankie Menendez (+7) for the match.

Kingfisher First beat Sixt/ARPC by 17 goals to 5

The match was played between Kingfisher First and Sixt/APRC. Kingfisher First beat Sixt/ARPC by 17 goals to 5. William Lucas and Ubajara Andrade scored 5 goals each, Angad Kalaan scored 4 goals and Satinder Garcha scored 3 goals for Kingfisher First. Samir Suhag scored 3 goals and Manual Godara scored 2 goals for Sixt/ARPC

Royal Johar beat Sixt/ARPC by 10 goals to 8

Vishal Singh opened the account for Johor by converting a 40-yard penalty and he added one more in the first chukker. Samir Suhag struck two early in the second chukker, but Estrada called the shots right till the end. Cernada scored one and Vishal had three besides Estrada’s six as Johor virtually booked itself for the Sunday final. For Sixt-APRC, Manupal Godara slotted in four, Suhag had three and Uday Kalaan hit one.
