Ratanada Cup (4 Goals)

Fighting Four win the Ratanada Cup by defeating Cavaliers on Sunday Dec 9 at the Jaipur Polo Ground, New Delhi.
 

 

The Finals of Ratanada Cup (4 Goals) polo tournament played today at the Jaipur Polo Ground between Fighting Four and Cavaliers in which Fighting Four beat Cavaliers by 5-1/2 goals to 4. Bhupendra Singh opened the account for Cavaliers whereas Santiago Cernada converted two 60 yard penalties into goals for Fighting Four who started with 1/2 goals on handicap. In the 2nd chukker only one goal scored by Bhanupratap Singh for Fighting Four. In the 3rd chukker both teams scored one goal each. The score was 4-1/2 to 2 in favour of Fighting Four at the end of 3rd chukker. In the last chukker Bhupendra Singh scored 2 quick goals for Cavaliers to reduced the margin 4 to 4-1/2 but Santiago Cernada scored one more goal for Fighting Four to make final score 5-1/2 to 4 and won the trophy. Scorers for Fighting Four: Santiago Cernada (4), Bhanupratap Singh (1) and started with 1/2 goal on handicap.

The first semi finals was played between Cavaliers and Rangers. Cavaliers beat Rangers by 4 goals to 3. HH Capt Tunku Ismail Ibrahim scored 2 goals, Bhupendra Singh scored one goal and Rajak scored one goal for Cavaliers. Nb Ris Ramesh Singh scored 2 goals for Rangers who started with one goal on handicap.

The second semi finals was played between Fighting Four and Arrow. Fighting Four beat Arrow by 3 ½ goals to 2. Santiago Cernada scored all 3 goals for Fighting Four who started with ½ goal on handicap. Maj JS Ahluwalia and Qamsany scored one goal each for Arrow.
