Bhopal Pataudi Cup- Semi Finals - South Delhi VS Jindal Steel, Oct 20

The 1st semi final of the Bhopal Pataudi Cup was played on Oct 20, 2002 between South Delhi and Jindal Steel.

SOUTH DELHI

JINDAL STEEL & POWER
1. Mr Deepak Udar -2
2. Mr Simran Shergill +2

The first semi final played between South Delhi and Jindal Steel & Power was a very hard fought match and played at fast pace. Jindal Steel & Power started with ½ goal and scored one goal in the 1st chukker through Simran Shegill while Phillip Elliott scored two goals for South Delhi. In the 2nd chukker Phillip Elliott again scored one goal for south Delhi while Naveen Jindal and Samir Suhag scored two goals each. The score was 5 ½ to 3 in favour of Jindal Steel & Power. The 3rd & 4th chukkers were disaster for Jindal Steel and during these chukkers they could not score any goal while Phillip Elliot scored 2 goals and Bhawani Singh Kalvi scored one goal in 3rd chukker and Phillip Elliott added one more goal in the last chukker. The finals score was 7 - 5 ½.

South Delhi won the match 7 - 5.5.
